The NGO Health Team, regularly visits the smallholder farmer’s families in the rural settings while pensioners practising backyard farming, are visited in the urban settings. Vital signs, are taken in order to ascertain the health status. The major vital signs are body temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate and the body mass index. The observed individuals, are advised to see their doctors for full observation.

  • Underweight: 16.0 to 18.4 kg/m2

  • Severely Obese: 35.0 to 39.9 kg/m2
